Here are our core legal documents, and other bits and pieces that help us have some common understanding and run smoothly(ish).

Formal documents

MHCC Constitution 2010
  • Our defining document, as presented to Department of Commerce, July, 2010 (legally required for all incorporated bodies in Western Australia).
Certificate of incorporation
  • Our certificate of incorporation with Fair Trading.
Articles of association
  • The articles supplement the constitution.

  • MHCC supports a part-time teaching position for teaching, learning and spiritual direction.
Finances spreadsheet
  • Profit and Loss statements of both MHCC and Wiggly Woo, plus an Equity Summary.

Guidelines and policies

Child protection policy, Feb. 2017
  • Child protection policy and procedures, February, 2017.
Leadership proposal, 2008
  • A discussion paper from 2008 that informs how eldership works in our community and is also reflected in the constitution.
Speaker roster group
  • A policy adopted by the eldership group regarding function and membership of the speaker roster group.
MHCC web site guidelines
  • Created to guide the community and the webmaster regarding the use and content of the MHCC website.
MHCC Policies for Giving
  • Guidelines for how our church approaches giving in general, as a community and as individuals.
Community assistance
  • Guidelines to help church members who are from time to time asked for money or other help.

Leadership in the church as community
  • What does leadership and eldership look like in a “Church as a community”. Based on material from Dave Andrews. This material was important for our community in shifting how we see ourselves. It’s from about 2002.
Computer operator instructions
  • Instructions on how to set up, use, and pack down the computer on Sundays.
