Welcome to Mt Hawthorn Community Church

Our regular meetings are held on Sunday mornings at 9.30(ish) in the Mount Hawthorn Community Centre Lesser Hall. The entrance to the Hall is from Braithwaite Park.
For everyone
This site is for everyone interested in the Mount Hawthorn Community Church (MHCC). Our meetings are mostly low tech and informal. We're about people, not programs. We make time for exploring God's mystery, love and justice through listening and talking, silence and music. And laughing. We do a lot of that.

Church is about accepting each other as we are. It's about love, being connected, walking the journey together. Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome!

This site is also for staying connected - getting hold of rosters, previous sermons or talks. And there's stuff for those interested in finding out what we're about: where and when we get together.
Where we are
We meet around 9:30am on Sunday mornings in the lower hall, Mt Hawthorn Community Centre, on the corner of The Boulevard and Scarborough Beach Road.
